Sports

Athletics at Saint Rose School work to support the school mission by providing a Christ centered environment where the student athlete can learn sport fundamentals, gain self-confidence, work together with a team and condition physically. We hope to teach and demonstrate to our student athletes the value of good sportsmanship, hard work, fair play, and a positive attitude.

Saint Rose plays area parochial schools as a member of the Diocese of Nashville athletic league. We offer basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, tennis and volleyball. To participate in our athletic program, athletes must be a religious education student at St. Rose Church or a student at St. Rose School. Each athlete is required to have a diocesan health form on file for each school year which contains health information, emergency contacts and parental consent. These forms can be obtained by going to forms or from www.nashvilledac.com.

Our athletic registration fees cover the use of uniforms, equipment, field maintenance, diocesan fees, and other expenses. Our program also relies on the volunteer spirit of parents and friends of St. Rose students. Our volunteers serve as coaches, team parents, concession workers and support personnel. Contact the athletic department for additional information and volunteer opportunities at 898-0555 x240.

But let our people, too, learn to devote themselves to good works to supply urgent needs, so that they may not be unproductive.
