Cross Country

Cross Country is open to any student in kindergarten through 8th grade. Athletes in kindergarten through second grade race a distance of ¾ of a mile. Third through sixth grade runners run a course one mile long and 7th and 8th grades students run 1.5 miles. No prior experience is necessary. Practice starts in August and the meets run from late September through mid-October.

Congratulations to the seventh and eighth grade 2007-2008 girls cross country team who won first place in the Diocese Championship. St. Rose consistently has runners who place in the top twenty during the diocesan meets. We also have had our middle school runners participate in area and county meets during the season. A St. Rose runner won first place in the 2007-2008 Rutherford County Cross Country meet.

Read the diocesan Cross Country rules.
