Nashville Spring Youth Track Series
This program, hosted by Lipscomb Academy and Overbrook Catholic School, will facilitate meet production for area schools and individuals. During the spring, the goal is to host a four meet season for athletes in the 1st through 8th grades to explore the sport of track.
Athletes will compete at local tracks in the following events: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1600m. They are also introducing field events – Shot Put and Long Jump as opportunities to learn and compete.
Athletes can compete as part of a school-based team, a homeschool co-op, or as unattached individuals. United States Track Federation will serve as your meet director and facilitator for these meets. They do not hold practices or train athletes for this program. Practices will be organized by a Saint Rose coach.
The registration fee is $60. This is to cover the $50/athlete TNMileSplit fee and the remaining to cover team expenses covered by Saint Rose Athletics.
