Camp Saint Rose

Camp Saint Rose is an opportunity for children to explore faith and fun through fine arts, sports, academics, and an array of activities. Experiences are provided for children Entering Kindergarten-6th Grade. Each camper will be under the direction of teachers, alumni, and other experienced instructors.

Camp Hours

There is an option for a half (morning or afternoon) or a full day of camp.
Morning camps: 8:30am-12:00pm
Afternoon camps: 12:30-4:00pm

ANY child registered for a full day will need a lunch.

Camp Description

Camp Wild (Grades K-2, Mrs. Bautista) - Join us for a critter- filled week where we will explore the amazing world of creatures big and small! Each day, we will learn about a new group of animals through exciting hands-on activities, games, and crafts. Best of all, we’ll get up close and personal with real live critters, with special guest experts bringing in fascinating animals for us to see and touch!

Master Chef Mini Cooking Camp (Grades 3-5, Ms. Gilstrap) - Whisk, Stir, and Savor the Fun!  Join us for a tasty adventure at our Cooking Camp, where young chefs will learn the basics of cooking & baking in a fun, hands-on environment! From delicious snacks to crafting sweet treats, campers will explore new recipes, develop kitchen skills, and discover the joy of preparing their own meals. This camp is the perfect recipe for a summer full of flavor, learning, and culinary excitement. Get ready to cook up some delicious fun!

Basketball Camp (Grades 3-4, Ms. Wright) - Campers will learn the basics or further develop their basketball skills. The camp will focus on fundamentals, having team scrimmages, and fun basketball games.  This is a great opportunity to prepare for the next Saint Rose basketball season.

Latin Dance Camp (Grades 3-5, Mrs. Garcia) -Step into the world of Latin Dance with all of its color, and joyful music. The fun will culminate in a performance for family and friends.

Art Adventure Camp (Grades 3-5, Mrs. Bautista) - Get ready to unleash your inner artist! For kids in grades 3-5, this camp takes art to the next level. With a wide variety of materials ready for you—paints, clay, and more—you'll have the freedom to experiment and create from your imagination. Whether you're an art beginner or already love to create, you'll leave with a masterpiece of your own!

Adventures in Science (Grades K-2, Ms. Gilstrap) - Calling all curious minds! Get ready for an exciting journey where you'll explore the wonders of the world. Our Science Camp is packed with hands-on experiments, wild discoveries, and fun activities that will make science come to life! From building rockets to exploring ecosystems, every day is an adventure. Whether you're a budding scientist or just love to explore, there’s something for everyone.

Soccer Camp (Grades 4-6, Ms. Wright) - Develop your soccer skills with fundamental ball handling, field movement without the ball and defensive tactics and awareness. This will include: scrimmages, small sided games, and fun challenges. Campers will need to bring a size 4 ball, cleats and tennis shoes if we need to play in the gym due to weather.

Art Adventure (Grades K-2, Mrs. Bautista) - Get ready for a colorful summer at Art Adventure Camp! Designed for kiddos in grades K-2, this camp is all about unlocking creativity and having fun. Young artists will dive into the world of art with tons of exciting materials at their fingertips—think painting, collaging, drawing, and more! They’ll explore new art forms, the art room, and create together!

International Baking Camp (Grades 3-5, Sister John Margaret) - Grab your aprons and get your passports ready on the 1st day of camp. We are heading on another trip around the world. Be prepared to bake desserts from different countries along the way!

Baking Camp (Grades K-2, Mrs. Garcia) - In “Spanish Immersion Baking Camp” students will make delicious desserts while practicing their Spanish speaking, listening and vocabulary skills.

Step into a Book (Grades K-2, Sister John Margaret) - Step into the world of books. Dive into the deep ocean and climb mountains. This camp offers adventures with everything in- between. You will learn about some famous authors, make crafts, and write a story of your own!

Comic Book Camp (Grades 3-5, Mrs. Bautista) - In this action packed camp, we’ll bring our own comic book characters to life through drawing, storytelling and colorful creations. Campers will get to take home their own comic book that they create. Get ready to POW! BAM! and WOW! your way through a week of comic book fun!

Food, Fun & Travel (Grades 3-5, Mrs. Garcia) - Food, Fun and Travel. Sharpen your Spanish while enjoying the sites and sounds from Spain to South America and lots in-between.

Adventures & Fairytales Camp (Grades K-2, Ms. Gilstrap) - Step into a World of Magic and Adventure!  Embark on a journey through enchanted forests, mystical kingdoms, and epic quests! Young adventurers will explore classic stories and create their own fairytales through fun activities like treasure hunts, imaginative role-play, arts and crafts, and even dramatic storytelling.  Come bring your fairy tale dreams to life!

Food, Fun & Travel (Grades K-2, Mrs. Garcia) - Enjoy food, fun and travel as we explore countries from Spain to South America. Children are exposed to and encouraged to experiment with new vocabulary as they explore the cultural elements of Spain and Latin America.

Art Around the World (Grades 3-5, Mrs. Bautista) - A global journey of art awaits! Each day, we will explore art from a different culture, from Chinese Sumi ink art to Japanese origami to Mexican pottery. We'll create projects inspired by these cultures while learning about art from all over the world!

Pirates of Saint Rose (Grades K-2, Sr. John Margaret) - Ahoy Mateys! This camp will be full of high adventures. Step aboard me mighty ship and find some treasure along the way. Crafts, theatrical performances and other fun!

Martial Arts (Grades 3-5, Ms. Barajas) - Come join us for a fun filled Karate Summer Camp: Saints and Samurais. A camp where faith and martial arts unite to build strength, discipline, and virtue. Karate teaches respect, perseverance, and self-mastery just as Catholicism calls us to be spiritual warriors (Ephesians 6:11). At this camp, you'll train in Tang Soo Do, grow in faith, and develop the heart of a warrior. Are you ready to strengthen body and soul? Join us and walk the path of Saints and Samurai!

What’s for Dinner? (Grades 3-5, Sr. John Margaret) -Plan a formal dinner with invitation, table setting, flower arrangement, main course and dessert preparation and experience the magic!

Registration

Each camp session is $135/week.
Any camper registered or a full day will receive a discount weekly rate of $245

A $75 non-refundable deposit will be billed to FACTS for enrolled families once we receive your registration. Parish families will be billed separately.
Due to limited spots, your child’s spot will not be confirmed until your deposit is paid.
Full payment for June camps will be due May 15, 2025.
Full payment for July camps will be due May 29, 2025.

Full day campers will need a lunch.

All campers will need to have a water bottle each day and must wear tennis shoes.

A camp t-shirt will be provided, along with a snack each day.

Camp staff will provide allergy-free snacks to those who have specified the need on the registration form.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Drop-off & pick-up will be in the Jo Call room. Campers must be walked in every day. Camp check-in will begin at 8:30am or 12:00pm.
Dismissal will begin at 12:00pm or 4:00pm.
Any camper not picked up by 12:05pm or 4:05pm will be charged a late fee.

Refund Policy

75% of camp fees will be refunded if requested by May 15, 2025. We can not make refunds after that date. Full refunds will be given if Saint Rose has to cancel a camp.
