Cross Country
Cross country is a Diocesan league open to K-8 grade boys and girls attending a Catholic school or participating in a PSR/CCD program.
Athletes compete in divisions based on certain grades and genders provided below. Day camps may occur in July. Practices can start in late July. There are four Sunday afternoon meets, generally held in September, in Nashville on the Dominican Campus (Saint Cecilia/Overbrook schools). All 6-8 grade runners also participate in an individual and team competition held on the final Sunday meet. These runners must participate in 3 out of the 4 meets to qualify for an individual or team award. Saint Rose provides a jersey for each runner.
The registration fee is $60 per participant. This increase covers the entrance fees to all of the meets.
