Tennis is offered through two separate youth programs for Saint Rose parishioners.  One is conducted by the Nashville Catholic Tennis league and the other is organized by MTSU.

Nashville Catholic Tennis League

This is a Diocesan coordinated program for K-8 grade students.  It is a fun introduction to tennis competition for Catholic students that offers a low-pressure team environment to develop their skills through level-based play and instruction when necessary.  K-4 grade will be instruction-based and play on a smaller court.  5-8 grade will have match play on a full-sized court.

Dates: April 10 and 24,  May 8 and 15

Place: Centennial Sportsplex

Times: K-4 grade:  9:00-10:00am, 5-8 grade: 10:30am-12:00pm

Fee: $35 per player

To register, click here and find your school’s Team ID#.  All players will receive a free USTA Junior membership.  If you have questions, please contact Tyler Strong.

MTSU Tennis Clinics

Clinics are normally for one hour on Wednesdays starting at 5:00pm at the MTSU tennis courts.  They normally have seven sessions, as well as, three make-up dates.   This program is for beginners and intermediate players. Sessions will begin in late March and end in early May.  The cost is $70.00.
